My why
Hi, I'm Hannah.
For a long time, I was exhausted, unwell, and doing everything I had been told was healthy while my body quietly fell apart. Finding my way out taught me how to work with my body instead of against it. Now I want to share that with every woman who needs it.
From running on empty to coming home to myself
For years, I was doing everything I thought I was supposed to do and quietly falling apart. I was a personal trainer, a group fitness instructor, and a brain health coach. I earned my degree in health science and went straight into managing and teaching full time at a Pilates studio. I was surrounded by health, passionate about it, and running on empty the entire time.
And I was getting sicker. I kept developing new food sensitivities. I had skin reactions, stomach pain so severe that eating became something to dread, and a nervous system so strained by chronic stress that I could barely sleep. I spent a long stretch exhausted, in pain, and slowly withdrawing from the life I loved. There were moments I wondered if I would ever feel like myself again.
My response was the only one I had ever been taught. Push harder. Train more. Do more. I did not yet understand that I was pouring effort into the very thing that was breaking me down.
Eventually I was diagnosed with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, an immune condition where the body releases inflammatory chemicals in response to everyday triggers like food, stress, and environment. One of the first things I learned was that too much physical stress was making me worse. The approach I had built my life around was part of what was keeping me sick.
That was when everything began to change. I stopped pushing and started listening.
Slowly, I found my way toward the light. Not through a magic protocol, but by learning to work with my biology instead of against it. Through real science, genuine rest, and a life that supported my nervous system, I came home to myself stronger, clearer, and more alive than I had ever been.
My suffering did not come from a lack of effort. It came from a gap in what we are taught about caring for ourselves.
Why I am building this
We are pushed toward more, harder, faster, and told to leave out the very things that make us well: our nervous system, our rest, our relationships, our faith, and our sense of purpose. Luminary Collective exists to close that gap.
I am building a wellness house for women. A place to learn how your body works, to follow a plan made for you, and to grow alongside women who care about depth and real purpose. My faith is at the center of my life, and it is at the center of this house too.
I built this for the woman who is working so hard and still feels off. The one who keeps starting over. And honestly, I built it for the version of me who was so sick and isolated she could not imagine feeling well again. She deserved better than the exhaustion she was told to push through. So do you.
You are not broken, and you are not too far gone. You were simply never shown the full picture. That is what I am here to change.
What I believe
You have power here.
You did not choose where you started, but with understanding and daily practice, you can shape what comes next.
You are one whole person.
Mind, body, and spirit are connected, and they need to be cared for together.
Work with your biology.
Lasting change comes from understanding your body, not forcing it.
We were made for connection.
Growth happens best in community, and life is richer when it serves a purpose bigger than ourselves.
